Life Protection Skills is more than a martial art of self-defense system.

Life Protection Skills is a mindset and a technical skill set based on the premise that being "protective" through action is better than being "defensive" through reaction.  Life Protection Skills or Ki Bon Sool in Korean relies on the three A’s principle: Awareness, Avoidance and appropriate Action skills for all levels of students, regardless of age, ability or prior experience.

Students enhance verbal skills through 'Protective Communication’ that enables a student to draw physical, psychological and legal boundaries when confronted by danger. Scenario-based training is a strong focus for the development of Life Protection Skills. Students can experience real decision-making under stressful conditions. Instructors videotape and review training scenarios with each class deciding on successful outcomes.
